THE TRIBE + THE EXHIBITION

When we refer to “The Tribe” we are referring to our community of creative warriors. Our creative warriors are friends and associates who primarily focus in the realm of “Art+Design” and “Marketing” (graphic design, illustration, photography, advertising, branding, product design, etc.). 

EXHIBITION PURPOSE

The purpose of our exhibitions is build this community and it’s physical presence. We can continue to blog all day and use social media, but physical presence is important. We want to meet other creatives, collaborate on projects, and build relationships along the way. 

Are passion becomes written off as less than art as soon as consumer and money becomes key factors. It’s obnoxiously cliche. We didn’t sell our souls or give up our creativity, we just looking at the work the same way. With this community, we also creative an environment where people can acknowledge a packaging label as respectable piece of art…or have some one say “that’s rad” and really mean it. We geek our over ad campaigns. Sometimes we look even crazy. At these exhibitions, we aim for that. 

PARTICIPATING

These exhibitions showcase not only members of WMDT, but individuals creative warriors or other creative tribes. We also look for people who are interested in collaborating in marketing or covering the exhibition.
