PART 2 : BEAUTY BAR VIDEO!!!!

We know you probably wouldn’t have read what I wrote If I posted a video first. Well, even if you didn’t, here’s a video put together by Loosey Goosey Zine themselves.

We’re visual people - why read a recap when you can watch it.

looseygooseyzine:

On February 2nd Loosey Goosey and The Infusion Project collaborated to set up an art show at the Beauty Bar in Wicker Park, Chicago. The night was a complete success, with artists selling their work and the floor dancing all night long. Loosey Goosey presented volume II’s featured artist Kathleen Boudwin and showcased a sneak peek at the upcoming issue. If you didn’t make it, don’t worry, there will be plenty more to come! In the mean time we have some photos by Sergio Silva and a video put together by Chris Cook and Joseph Crawford.

RECYCLED CARDBOARD SERIES
SELF INITIATED | 2008
CARDBOARD ART

BY JON REMO

When I first dormed at Columbia College Chicago, my apartment was extremely huge and empty. Being really upset by the large white walls, I took all the cardboard from all the new students to make random work for my wall. It kinda ended up like me literally painting on various pieces of cardboard, ripping it into pieces, and then taping them together afterwards.

I also got a huge fine because the walls were later destroyed. (The image is of the cardboard series displayed later in a student showcase).
