Here’s a breakdown of my “HEADGEAR” series, inspired from my bike accident back in September. I’ve said many times that these are my first paintings. It’s a half lie, but I consider this more of painting that my previous attempts.
I documented the breakdown so I can learn more about what I did. This was the first time I had a plan of attack, knew what I was doing, followed through, and completed it accordingly (minus inconsistencies).

This is the final product from the “A Visual Story of DevilRobots” Teaser. All the photos from that shoot, were used to create a mock “Look-Book” for the products of DevilRobots (a design collective).
Instead of just shooting straight product shots, I took the direction of trying to emphasize the playful imagination that comes behind the collectable toys. I drew some fun illustrations, layered them out, and shot some epic scenes.
