TRIBE HAND CTA SKETCH SERIES ILLUSTRATION | 2010 In 2010, I began studying subconscious/spontaneous sketching. The purpose was to explore problem solving of composition and purpose when presented with an unpredicted mark. It’s almost like chiseling at random until a perspective is found. I would jump on the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), commute to school, and begin scribbling shapes and motion. Prisma markers were then used to bleed the pen and create more depth. - Remo
